19 “Write, therefore, what you have seen, what is now and what will take place later. 20 The mystery of the seven stars that you saw in my right hand and of the seven golden lampstands is this: The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches, and the seven lampstands are the seven churches."
In these verses Jesus makes it clear what the seven lampstands and the seven angels were referring to earlier. One source I found suggested that the word angel could also be translated as messenger, so that the verse may reference human pastors or disciples.
Another thing to remember while reading the book Revelation is Christ's admonition to us in Mark 13:32 that "“But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father." So while there are many different debates about turns of phrase and meaning in different chapters of this book of the Bible the main thing to remember is that Christ is coming back and we need to be obedient of Him and God in order to be prepared for that to happen.
I have seen several video testimonies of a few people who had dreams about being 'left behind' during the rapture that is forecast in the Bible, and the reason they were given in their dreams was that they did not tell other people to repent of their sins and ask Salvation from Christ.
These video testimonies are always very moving to me. Listening to this kind of testimony makes it clear that our main objective is to keep our own souls clean and to testify to others about Salvation through Christ. In Matthew 12:30, God tells us that "he who doesn't gather with me scatters". This is a sobering thought, that we might drive people away from Christ with our behavior rather than to Him. As someone who has only come back to Christ in the last couple of years and is still in the process of 'dying to self' it's easy for me to lapse back into the 'old me' and I have to be vigilant to represent Christ instead of self.
