I don't like seeing the Bible exploited for political aims like this because the main motivation behind political partisanship is greed. I wish Christians would avoid political partisanship as much as humanly possible because politics is a worldly pursuit that makes use of religion to further its aims, though politicians would like us to think the reverse is true.
I really hope that folks reading this passage will take its meaning to heart and accept Christ and be led to the light of righteousness, far far away from the devil and his minions and the lake of fire and sulfur where they all will end up.
